Responsibilities:
Lead and guide our policy analysis, development and deployment for our app ecosystem in Brazil.
- Provide thought leadership on contentious policy issues as well as steer company position on up coming and harmful content regulation.
- Collaborate with our public policy, product, operations, legal, and public relations teams to improve content policies and streamline enforcement policies and processes.
- Help lead projects that explore regional policy effectiveness and the need for new policy formulation, leveraging available data and risk assessments.
- Develop effective feedback loops especially with moderation, quality, and vendor operations teams in order to inform, calibrate, and optimize policy lines.
Requirements:
- 5 + years experience in policy, policy enforcement, law, or public policy in Brazil.
- Deep interest in content management and online community development
- Exposure to Trust & Safety, content policy, or brand safety roles or another relevant field
- Understanding of international Internet, social media and/or platform content issues
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, identify trade-offs, and make decisions in high-pressure situations
- Experience managing complex research projects and proven ability to develop sound research methodologies preferred.
