Overview:

Sentara Health is now hiring a Product Owner to join our team!Coordinate and monitor the scrum process from initiation through delivery. Serve as liaison between the product owner, development team, and management in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensure that team members understand project objectives. Maintain product backlog and release plan and facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's sprint goals. Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.
Career-development professional within the field. Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in the discipline. Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment
Education

  • Bachelor's' degree preferred.
    Experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree or Certification
    3 years of relevant experience with a degree 
    5+ years of relevant experience without a degree

Experience

  • Proven experience coordinating and monitoring the Scrum process from initiation through delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between development teams, and management to ensure alignment on goals and requirements.
  • Experience ensuring team understanding of project objectives and supporting clear communication across all stakeholders.
  • Strong background in identifying and removing impediments that impact sprint progress and team performance.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$80,204.80-$133,681.60Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Sentara Independence provides quality outpatient services to the surrounding community. The facility includes an ambulance-accessible emergency room that is supported by board-certified physicians. Sentara Independence houses state-of-the-art medical equipment and highly-skilled physicians and staff.  Sentara Independence is now an extension of the quality services at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital including advanced imaging and physical therapy.
