Digital Commercial Accelerator Product Owner – Engagement/Campaign

The engagement/campaign product is an essential product in Sanofi digital portfolio to enable marketing campaign execution across the world to meet the customers and patients in the digital channels that make the most impact. This highly dynamic area is a corner stone to Sanofi’s Digital strategy.

The Commercial Accelerator Product Owner – Engagement is responsible for directing the area of the campaign product team supporting new feature deployments to Accelerator Experience Streams, Sanofi brands/regions, best practice development, communication, capture and transfer of requested campaign advancements, campaign process optimization/improvements, identification and implementation as well as other activities related to expanding the usage of Sanofi Sales Force Marketing Cloud (Omnichannel engine) platform to activate global play to win digital strategies. This is a role that works closely to understand the experiences and potential optimizations on how internal marketing stakeholders utilize the campaign tool to achieve the play-to-win strategies.

Main responsibilities

You will be a senior leader and act as a mini-CEO for this digital product, co-defining product strategy with the business, planning product roadmap, driving product delivery with delivery team, and measuring/optimizing business impact. Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Own the product from a "What" and "Why" perspective
  • Define, create, and communicate a product roadmap aligned with business objectives and supported by business cases, market research, customer data and competitive analysis
  • Work cross-functionally with all areas of the business, partnerships, and senior stakeholders in commercial, research, technology, operations, and marketing departments
  • Be accountable for delivering incremental value every sprint
  • Manage backlog prioritization of work
  • Work with Scrum Master and delivery team daily, answering questions, addressing ambiguities, and being available to solve issues
  • Inspire the team and bring a unique vision and perspective for what is possible

Product Owner skills and capabilities

  • Facilitates the deployment and utilization of features of the Campaign product to Accelerator experience stream stakeholders and deployment COE
  • Coordinates with deployment COE to deploy best practices, new feature training, communication and evolution of campaign features
  • Track record of problem-solving & overcoming roadblocks in a complex environment, with a “get things done” mindset
  • Has a deep knowledge of Omnichannel campaign orchestration to set best-in-class external engagement across consumers and healthcare professionals
  • Can negotiate Yes/No and enforce global standards with non-digital stakeholders
  • Able to present and sell the Omnichannel Engine vision of the product
  • Establishes and ensures follow-up and reporting of KPI’s to continuously iterate and achieve targeted outcomes
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define and drive high-value, outcome-based targets
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends and the availability of potential new disruptive technology related to the omnichannel engine

About you

General qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience working with diverse business units, business case development and rollout/adoption planning of systems or products
  • 5+ years of delivering digital products in a diverse group of countries
  • Able to work in a global environment including the ability to maintain global relationships and understand different business models that may vary by region and business unit
  • Solid knowledge of Lean & Agile practices, UX/UI and Application Design & Integration
     

Functional Knowledge/Skills in the following areas

  • Experience with campaign software architecture, front-end, back-end and interfacing technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of how campaign systems achieve business value and best practices
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Understand and live Agile methodology
  • Be able to write clear and easily understandable user journeys and how to enable them in existing platforms
  • Comfortable with one-on-one to large group presentations
  • Experience in supporting global platforms
  • Beginner to intermediate JIRA and Confluence
  • Interest in hands-on experience
  • Experience with preferable with Sales Force Marketing Cloud
