Equifax is seeking a technical product owner who is a master at bridging the desires of the customer and the capabilities of the technology, removing barriers to software development. You will be responsible for grooming the product backlog and have insight into technical requirements of individual stories thus creating a more efficient user experience.
What you will do
-
Responsible for the overall performance of the product, overseeing it from inception and ideation through design, build, launch, growth, enhancement and eventual sunset.

Creates product roadmap and identifies delivery channels, direction of product and product development needs.

Defines product requirements and collaborates with cross functional teams to bring products to market (D&A, technology, sales, fulfillment, product marketing, finance, legal).

Responsible for the overall technology aspects of the product life cycle beginning with innovation through deployment, testing, and overall product roadmaps, ensuring all products align with architectural standards, business goals and objectives.

Partner and liaise with Product Managers, Business Leaders, Architects and Engineers globally to design a strategy to support development of Product Roadmaps, R&D functions, plans to sunset legacy systems, and support incoming M&A products and activity.
What experience you need

BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent job experience required

Experience managing product backlogs and requirements for Agile delivery teams in a Product Owner capacity

You are skilled at removing roadblocks

Experience delivering products using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Possess a deep understanding of web service technologies, user interface/interaction, and knowledge of Systems Development and Project Management lifecycles

Experience with Product & Technology Roadmap development through influence of key business and technology partners to identify business priorities

Excellent leadership and motivational skills

Possess a willingness to empower as well as encourage commitment and positive attitude in the team
