The Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Owner to join our team and drive the product strategy of our AI-driven e-commerce innovation platform. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical understanding, and user empathy to translate our cutting-edge AI capabilities into valuable, user-centric products. The ideal candidate will excel at stakeholder management and maintaining a strong user-centric mindset while driving alignment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for our AI-driven e-commerce platform, aligning it with company goals and market needs
  • Drive stakeholder alignment by effectively communicating product vision, features, and timelines across the organization
  • Champion a user-centric approach in all product decisions, ensuring that our solutions address real user needs and pain points
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to define and prioritize product features
  • Gather and analyze user feedback, market trends, and competitor information to inform product decisions
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive product backlog, writing clear and detailed user stories
  • Work closely with the Tech Lead to ensure technical feasibility and optimal implementation of product features
  • Conduct sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings, ensuring the team delivers high-quality products on schedule
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI, e-commerce technologies, and product management practices
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth product development and delivery

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI or e-commerce products
  • Strong background in agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced, innovative environments
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling consumer-facing digital products
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and online retail dynamics
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, particularly in the context of multi-agent systems and LLMs
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to articulate product vision to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with product analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Proven track record of successful stakeholder management and driving alignment across diverse teams
  • Experience in startup environments and familiarity with lean product development methodologies (preferred)
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and practices (preferred)
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React) and basic understanding of software development processes (preferred)
  • Certifications in product management or agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, PMP) (preferred)
