You will be working with the Oro team. Oro is a skill training and career exploration platform. It is a new product, and the team is moving quickly, like a startup. The team has experience in product management, sales support, software development, and business development.

About the Role 

The role is to plan and oversee the implementation of the roadmap and help develop the timeline for each feature. You will work with product management and software development. Specifically, you will manage the sprints, plan the epics, write the stories, and support early adopter customers. You can expand into documentation, user testing and design feedback. 

Performance Objectives: 

30 Days:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the product, engineering workflows, and priorities.
  • Begin defining and prioritizing backlog items based on customer and business impact in collaboration with the product team.

90 Days:

  • Create epics and write user stories for current features and ensue that engineering teams have a steady flow of prepared tasks.
  • Reporting on customer data for Oro and CC
  • Draft clear and detailed internal release notes for product updates.

180 Days:

  • Become the key person between product roadmap and software development, such as independently addressing engineering queries about product design and functionality during local working hours, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Document reports and implementations comprehensively to streamline knowledge sharing and decision-making.
  • Proactively monitor progress on engineering tasks, resolve impediments, and adjust specifications to maintain alignment with business goals.

360 days

  • Assist in coordinating user testing and design reviews, ensuring customer feedback is incorporated into future releases.
  • Leverage Pendo to create guides and walkthroughs to support users and enhance adoption.
  • Contribute to design feedback during product reviews, growing into a key resource for improving the user experience.
