About the job
As the Product Owner for Reporting and Consolidation you’ll create a valuable collaboration between business and technology, ensuring that our financial systems meet business needs in a sustainable way. You will work closely with finance stakeholders, end users, and IT teams to ensure our financial systems meet their needs and drive business growth. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing tasks, driving development, and collaborating with both internal and external partners to ensure high-quality delivery.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure product development aligns with the overall roadmap and company strategy. You will work closely with finance stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed requirements. Prioritizing development tasks based on business value and strategic importance will be crucial. You will maintain and manage the product backlog, ensuring a clear, prioritized list of user stories. Working closely with internal and external development teams, you will ensure timely and effective delivery of system enhancements. Ensuring that delivered solutions meet quality standards and adhere to best practices is essential. You will maintain a strong understanding of IFRS and ensure that systems comply with relevant regulations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including finance teams, IT teams, and external vendors, will be a key part of your role.
This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden, where the hiring manager and the team are located.

What you know
You have an extensive experience in finance, such as finance systems lead, financial controller, or finance transformation lead, is essential. Important to highlight is that you should have several years in roles involving financial reporting, consolidation, and treasury. This experience is crucial as it ensures you have a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of financial reporting and consolidation, which are vital for maintaining accurate and compliant financial records.
Having experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager, successfully managing product backlogs, defining requirements, and delivering system enhancements, is required.
Besides that you know how to work with cross-functional stakeholders, including finance teams collaborating with IT teams or external vendors to implement system solutions. Proven experience in system transformation projects, focused on improving or modernizing financial systems, is also important. This includes hands-on experience in process automation, reducing manual workloads, and optimizing financial workflows. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Swedish is a plus but not required.
