What you are going to do

The team is responsible for IT delivery to support our FEC and KYC processes. Improving data quality and streamlining these processes are your main focus. As a Product Owner FEC you interact with several stakeholders, your job is to constantly balance their input and requirements and convert that into a transparent product backlog. This means you need to take tough decisions and communicate them to your stakeholders. By doing this you bring focus to the enthusiastic End-to-End team which is completely staffed to improve the screening and alert handling process from start to finish.

You deliver the best results based on your own initiative and ambition:

  • Define a clear and embraced strategy for a secure KYC and FEC process
  • You are transparent about the priority on your product backlog and make sure your team delivers with increasing predictability
  • Lead a team that is committed and is able to work focused and autonomously
  • Together with the team you implement the KYC and FEC processes at NN

  • Salary between €4686,- and €6694,- depending on your knowledge and experience. This salary is based on 36 hours. It is also possible to work 38 or 40 hours per week

At NN we work hybrid. We combine working from home and working in the office. Teams can meet online or in person. You and your team agree on what suits you best. We have set up our offices in such a way that there is a suitable place for every type of work. The official location for this job is The Hague.

There is no relocation budget available for this role. We are looking for someone who currently lives in The Netherlands.

Who you are

You inspire and motivate your team with your drive. You prioritize based on value and are capable of making decisions. You truly believe ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ are equally acceptable answers, as long as it is accompanied by good reasons. You have an eye for what is needed in the organization. You know how to translate business problems and data policies into a transparent Product Backlog.

  • Experience in complex organizations with different stakeholders
  • You are accepted as a sparring partner and advisor of senior management
  • Minimal PSPO-1 certificate
  • Experience with FEC or KYC in a financial organization is a plus
  • Fluency in English. Proficiency in Dutch is seen as a nice to have, not a must

Who you will work with

Your team is part of the IT domain within Customer & Digital (C&D). C&D connects the Business Units of Nationale-Nederlanden with our joint customer. This means we take care of all generic systems, platforms, capabilities and service desks that are used within NN to service our customer. As an example you can think of the digital client portals, the app, the chatbot-technology which is being further developed and used and the expertise like Research, UX Design and Data Science within the whole company. With this we realize the digital, personal and relevant service offering towards our customers.

Your FEC team consists of SAP engineers, SalesForce engineers, Ops engineers and Data specialists. You will be reporting to the product manager who is responsible for Central Client Management.
