Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. Within RBS, the Wealth & Private Team is responsible for the full spectrum of a customer’s wealth needs. It comprises teams focussed on wealth creation and wealth protection, ranging from mass market to mass affluent to high-net-worth customer segments.

Do work that matters

As a Product Owner in the Mass Affluent Wealth team, you will lead a cross functional team of product, digital, and technology professionals; and provide thought leadership to drive new product development and global best customer experiences for self-managed super funds (SMSF).

On any given day

• You will be setting and implementing the strategic direction for the self-managed super funds CVP and digital customer experience

• You will be staying abreast of external market trends, regulations and innovations to deliver a market leading proposition

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary squad that will typically comprise of expertise from across product, technology, and digital, creating a psychologically safe, inclusive, accountable, and high performance culture.

• Define and deliver the product roadmap, vision, and KPIs and manage the squad’s performance to defined objectives

• Release and iterate on a product that meets customer needs and achieves business goals

• You will be leading delivery team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of strategic initiatives

• You will be accountable for developing and monitoring the end-to-end product risk and control environment. This includes robust product governance, identification of issues, escalation and swift resolution of problem records; including remediation and regulatory responses

• You will be working in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and partners, to plan the promotional effort for launching and growing new products

• Monitor the outcomes of delivered initiatives to ensure they are as expected and supporting the desired strategic intent.
