Job Description
BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company, is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist Senior to join a successful product marketing sales team supporting customer quotes and orders from intake to delivery of materials (explosives and related products/services) to Department of Defense and related customers worldwide. The ideal candidate will have outstanding attention to detail, a solid education in a marketing or related business subject, demonstrate a track-record of working in a fast-paced team environment, and showcase strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support Sales and Marketing activities for BAE Systems at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant in Kingsport, TN
- Plan and manage priority/strategic proposals and orders as assigned
- Prepare and submit reports as required
- Maintain sales database including the capture of all relevant information from external customers to support quotes and orders
- Ensure timely and complete communication with internal departments for smooth processing of the external customer requests
- Solicit and manage customer feedback with surveys and questionnaires
- Strong attention to timeliness with response to the external customers
- Ensure compliance with all Business Development policies and procedures
- Onsite presence at Holston facility required
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of work experience or equivalent experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Outstanding team player
- Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- 5 years of work experience
- Experience in Chemical Manufacturing
- Experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
- Experience in a GOCO environment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $66400 - $112880
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
