Who You Are:

You are a strategic thinker and a confident self-starter with a talent for translating complex technical concepts into clear, customer-centric messaging. With experience in developing buyer personas, creating compelling content, and aligning cross-functional teams, you thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, start-up environments. You are proactive in identifying opportunities, able to push for them to be prioritised, and focused on driving meaningful results.

What the Role Involves:

As Product Marketing Manager, you will help communicate the value of FIXR to event organisers worldwide by shaping product messaging, positioning, and customer communication strategies. You will drive retention and acquisition efforts by aligning with the Product team to refine the roadmap based on customer insights. You will also collaborate closely with Sales to deliver compelling materials and strategies for successful deal closures. Your role will bridge the gap between Marketing, Product, Account Management and Sales, ensuring consistent and effective execution across all initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Value Proposition and Messaging:
    • Develop impactful, customer-centric messaging and positioning statements that resonate with our multiple buyer personas.
    • Validate and refine messaging through customer insights and market research to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Collateral and Sales Enablement:
    • Collaborate with commercial teams to train and support them in positioning our products and delivering our messaging effectively.
    • Support the content team to create high-quality marketing materials (pitch decks, case studies, demo videos) that effectively communicate the value of our products to different audiences.
  • Competitive Research:
    • Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to identify key differentiation points.
    • Aggregate and share insights with internal stakeholders to maintain a strong understanding of our competitive landscape.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy:
    • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product and feature launches.
    • Plan and lead successful product launches that generate interest and drive engagement.
  • Product Adoption:
    • Develop a content strategy that generates awareness and interest in our product, working with the Content and Design teams to execute campaigns.
    • Find and craft compelling stories for use in campaigns, on our website, and with clients to help them understand the benefits of our product.
  • Customer Insights and Data-Driven Decisions:
    • Conduct deep customer research and leverage data insights to develop personas, refine messaging, and optimise go-to-market strategies.
  • Leadership and Mentorship:
    • As a senior member of the marketing team, mentor and provide guidance to other marketers, ensuring they understand product marketing best practices and are aligned with our overall strategy.
    • Take the lead on cross-functional initiatives that drive product adoption and growth.
Requirements
  • 6-9 years of experience in a product marketing or related role, with a proven track record in demand generation, product marketing, and content creation.
  • Strong understanding of marketing trends and techniques, particularly within the B2B SaaS and tech industries.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to forecast, measure, and identify trends and challenges.
