Product Marketing Lead

Job Description

The Product Marketing Specialist Senior Principal will lead and manage the overall product quote and proposal process for Radford Army Ammunition Plant as well as ensure on-time delivery of compliant, quality product proposals. Major activities include customer interface, internal coordination, and driving product capture sales through the quote and order process.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall quote and order process from Pre-RFQ through Order Acceptance
• Proactively communicate with sales team, functional support organizations, and business unit leadership to ensure timely and quality customer quote responses
• Facilitate necessary Life Cycle Management gate approvals on product quotes
• Drive timeliness of customer quote response
• Plan and manage priority/strategic proposals and orders as assigned
• Communicate with the external customers on a regular basis to ensure upmost customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with all Business Development policies and procedures
• Ensure strategy, technical solution, management approach, value propositions, and compliance are clearly articulated internally through bid and no-bid decisions
• Prepare and provide regular reports to management
• Maintain and demonstrate professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers
• Weekly onsite presence at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford Virginia

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
• Experience in Sales/Business Development
• Experience in Customer Interfacing Sales-related roles
• Ability to support the related proposal and quote processes
• Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experience in Chemical Manufacturing
• Experience in Department of Defense (DoD) environments
• Experience in GOCO environments

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $105835 - $179920
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
