Role

As a Product Marketer at Phantom you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns across all product work streams including: defining positioning, messaging, and creative, by analyzing market trends, target audiences, and work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design and leadership to ensure successful product launches and customer adoption.

This is a general opening - based on your fit and marketing experience you could be working on projects across product, partnerships, brand, content, influencer, and experiential marketing. There will be a lot of space to conceive, own and drive initiatives - with 7M MAU, Phantom is a rare opportunity to impact the web3 experience of people at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market campaigns for new products and features, including target audience identification, creative brief development, brainstorm facilitation, creative direction, copywriting, and performance reporting.
  • Translate features and use cases into audience-specific benefits that clearly articulates the product's value proposition and differentiates it from competitors.
  • Work with growth and design teams to develop marketing assets including videos, static assets, social posts, blog posts, to educate and engage users
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven adjustments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and prioritize opportunities, projects, and processes, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a full-time Product or Content Marketer
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful marketing campaigns for products or services used by millions of users
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to convey product benefits effectively
  • Understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tactics
  • Creative thinking to develop innovative marketing strategies and content
  • Passion and demonstrable knowledge in web3 and crypto. Ideally use dApps (ex. DeFi, NFT marketplaces) on a semi-regular basis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Data-driven, comfortable interpreting data to generate insights and inform creative decisions
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Experience in crypto

The target base salary for this role will range between $180,000 to $225,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors (such as location) at the point in time of offer.
