Role Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner / Product Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality products that align with our company’s goals and customer needs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management and contribute to the success of innovative projects. This role is ideal for someone with a background or interest in one or more of the following; enterprise mobile application development, social messaging, mobile telephony, VoIP, SMS and mobile device management (MDM)/mobile application management (MAM). Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior product managers to define the product vision and roadmap.
- Assist in translating business objectives into product goals and actionable tasks.
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog to ensure it reflects customer needs and business priorities.
- Write clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
- Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment on product goals and requirements.
- Gather and analyze feedback from customers, users, and internal teams to inform product decisions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with developers and designers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.
- Support product launches by coordinating with marketing, support, and other teams.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Leverage data and analytics to measure product success and inform future strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a product-related role or relevant internships.
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of mobile telephony, enterprise social messaging platforms, and voice integration technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, or equivalent project management software.
- Passion for technology and a keen interest in understanding user needs.
