Product Manager

The Position

We are looking for a smart product manager to join our product team. Your focus will be on delivering consumer experiences for our clients’ end users and developing the aspects of our platform that support them. In addition to close collaboration with the product team, you will lead a cross-functional team of engineers, customer success and implementation managers, and customer support personnel.

You will report to the VP of Product and drive product planning and execution throughout the entire product lifecycle: gathering and prioritizing market and customer requirements, defining and documenting product functionality, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, implementation, and customer success to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales, marketing, implementation, support, and customer success teams to create the content and tools needed to successfully sell, implement, and service the products;
• Manage project schedules and dependencies and drive cross-functional initiatives;
• Quickly develop deep expertise in the Extole platform, how it is built, and how to launch, analyze, and optimize the programs it powers;
• Focus the company on the rapid adoption of new features by being directly involved in initial launches, quickly gathering feedback, and conducting incisive analysis;
• Drive end-to-end feature delivery: writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria, wireframing user experiences, planning and executing rollouts
• Lead discussions on roadmap and prioritization;
• Write documentation and train the company and clients on new Extole capabilities.

Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field;
• You have 5+ years of Product Management or related experience in a fast-paced technology-driven company (preferably SaaS);
• You have produced API docs and guides for how systems integrate;
• You have experience with creating requirements for, designing and documenting APIs;
• You have strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills aimed at establishing goals, managing expectations, building relationships, and selling ideas;
• You enjoy problem-solving and exercising your critical thinking skills;
• You can hold your own in conversations with leadership and experienced engineering architects;
• You’re highly skilled in translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (and vice versa);
• You’re self-motivated, curious, and have a “get stuff done” attitude when approaching new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• You are familiar with solutions built for or used by retail and financial services marketing teams;
• You have code-level technical proficiency with modern APIs;
• You are competent with Jira, Figma, Productboard, and Pendo
