About the Opportunity 

Synthesis Health is looking for a stellar Product Manager who will be responsible for the planning, development, and launching of Synthesis Health’s suite of AI-enabled clinical support software products. The primary function of this position is to apply an understanding of the medical imaging software landscape to define detailed product requirements for development and successfully launch software products to market. Ideally, you should have experience with software-based medical devices, expertise in medical imaging fields, and enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Conducts discovery activities with clinical advisors, customers, and partners to understand the needs of the market. 
  • Maintains an understanding of the medical imaging market and competitive landscape. 
  • Facilitates product definition and design by gathering product requirements for the software products. 
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive product documentation, including user manuals, release notes, and FAQs. 
  • Creates user guides, tutorials, and other training materials (e.g., videos, webinars) to help users understand and effectively use the product. 
  • Actively gathers user feedback from various sources and analyzes user behavior data to identify pain points.  
  • Prioritizes feedback, communicates it effectively to the development team, and advocates for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle. 
  • Performs product risk/safety analysis activities for the design & development of the software products. 
  • Participates as the Product Owner in the Agile Process with the Product Development Team. 

 

About the Right Candidate 

 You can work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business, healthcare administration, product, software development or other relevant field of study.  
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, consulting or marketing of software solutions. 
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment is required. 
  • Experience building health care imaging software or computer-aided diagnosis software is required. 
  • Understanding of product development methodology in a regulated industry. 
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attentive to detail and multitasking. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to influence decision makers across functions and tailoring information for different audiences. 
  • Available to travel on an as needed basis, primarily in the US and Canada.

Compensation and Benefits 

Compensation is paid in the currency of the country where the individual is hired. For this position, the salary range is $90,000 – $115,000 CAD for positions in Canada. For other geographical locations, the salary will be determined based on market rates in the local jurisdiction and paid in local currency.
