About the Opportunity

As part of an exciting growth phase, StandardFusion currently has an opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Vancouver, BC, on a full-time basis. This is primarily an in-office position, although we do offer some flexibility around hybrid work.

As our new Product Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the evolution of our product and ensuring its continued value for our customers. You will manage all aspects of product management, including ideation, strategy, development, and iteration. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Foster and grow our culture. Culture is the most important key to our success. Maintaining and enhancing it requires everyone’s dedicated effort. You will focus on creating a positive work environment by promoting our core values: teamwork, psychological safety, diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
  • Prioritize and deliver impactful features. Use data-driven decision-making to prioritize product features and exceptional project management skills to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Understand user challenges and innovate solutions. Conduct user research, gather feedback, and translate insights into actionable product features that solve real-world problems in the GRC domain.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives. This will enable you to make complex prioritization decisions between existing customer requests and forward-looking expansion opportunities.
  • Champion customer-centricity. Advocate for the customer at every stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring their needs and goals remain at the forefront.
  • Define and drive product strategy. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to shape the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and user needs.
  • Measure success. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of product initiatives and inform future iterations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends. Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Define and optimize product team processes. Continuously assess and refine workflows to enhance execution, accelerate delivery, and improve business outcomes.

More About You

In addition to the responsibilities mentioned in the ‘About The Opportunity’ section, experience in any of the following is an asset:

  • SaaS product management expertise. You have successfully managed software products, including defining roadmaps, launching features, and driving measurable results.
  • Strong project management skills. You excel at managing complex projects, ensuring timely delivery by effectively resolving dependencies and removing blockers. You prioritize clear communication to ensure requirements are thoroughly gathered and understood by all stakeholders. Additionally, you are skilled at prioritization, understanding dependencies, and maintaining alignment across cross-functional teams over the entire course of a large project.
  • Technical acumen. While not a developer, you are comfortable discussing technical concepts and collaborating with engineering teams to find optimal solutions.
  • Customer-first mindset. You are passionate about deeply understanding and solving customer pain points through thoughtful and innovative solutions.
  • Data-driven approach. You can leverage analytics, user feedback, and market research to make informed product decisions.
  • Clear communication skills. You excel at articulating ideas, requirements, and feedback to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, are comfortable navigating ambiguity, and demonstrate a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with design tools. To help our small, cross-functional product team, you will need to be experienced with design tools (e.g., Figma) and have a keen eye for design. The ability to quickly create simple, clear wireframes and prototypes to effectively communicate ideas and user flows would be a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of GRC (preferred). Experience in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance domain is highly desirable but not required.

As our ideal candidate, you have impeccable written and spoken English language skills, as well as effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You have exposure to a wide variety of product management processes and believe that there are a variety of ways to get work done. You believe that thinking from first principles in the current context, making experimental changes, and evaluating feedback is more valuable than strictly adhering to an existing framework. Finally, you are an enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of problems and generating impact across the organization.

Candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset who are eager to learn and interested in growing with StandardFusion are strongly encouraged to apply.

About the Benefits

As a valued member of the StandardFusion team, you will be rewarded with a salary of $85,000 to $115,000 based on skills and experience. Additional benefits include:
