Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to focus on the development and optimization of Jira Align and Atlassian Analytics products. This role will report to the Director, Enterprise Toolsets, and will be key in driving user adoption, gathering and prioritizing feature requests, supporting integration initiatives, and developing product roadmaps for Jira Align and Atlassian Analytics. The Product Manager will also be responsible for leading training initiatives, managing documentation and onboarding processes, and ensuring the tools are being utilized according to best practices. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality, user-driven products and optimizing organizational use of these Atlassian tools.
Product Roadmap & Strategy:
Define and manage the product roadmap for Jira Align and Atlassian Analytics, aligning with the organization's objectives.
Continuously evaluate product performance and work with stakeholders to define new features, enhancements, and integrations that align with business needs.
User Adoption & Training:
Develop and execute strategies to increase user adoption of Jira Align and Atlassian Analytics across the organization.
Coordinate and conduct training sessions and create materials to ensure users understand how to effectively utilize these tools.
Maintain training content and user documentation, ensuring it remains current with product updates.
Feature Requests & User Feedback:
Collect, analyze, and prioritize feature requests from users and stakeholders to inform the product backlog.
Engage with users regularly to understand their pain points and gather feedback on product performance.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure that feature requests are translated into actionable product improvements.
Integration & System Optimization:
Oversee the integration of Jira Align and Atlassian Analytics with other systems and tools used within the organization.
Work closely with IT and technical engineering teams to ensure seamless integrations and data flow between platforms.
License Management & Cost Optimization:
Manage licensing for Jira Align and Atlassian Analytics products, ensuring the company has the appropriate number of licenses for active users.
Monitor license usage and optimize licensing strategies to reduce costs while maintaining the required tool availability.
Documentation & Onboarding:
Create and maintain comprehensive user manuals, knowledge base articles, and onboarding materials for new users of Jira Align and Atlassian Analytics.
Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new users are fully equipped to start using the tools effectively.
Best Practices & Reporting:
Establish and promote best practices for using Jira Align and Atlassian Analytics to ensure optimal product usage across the organization.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for user adoption, system performance, and overall tool effectiveness.
Generate regular reports on tool usage, feature adoption, and overall impact on business operations.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred or equivalent related work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Atlassian product management, with a focus on Jira Align.
  • Deep understanding of Jira Align, Atlassian Analytics, and integrations within the Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Proven track record in driving user adoption for enterprise software tools through training, support, and engagement.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks.
  • Experience with product usage analytics, reporting tools, and performance metrics.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Atlassian certifications (e.g., Jira Software Administrator, Jira Align) and certifications in Agile methodologies, such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or other relevant Agile certifications, are a plus.
