Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a passionate Product Manager to support building payments products at Forage. This is a critical role where you would drive product strategy and execution in a highly complex and regulated space. You will be responsible for understanding market needs, defining product strategy, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the checkout process and empower merchants with powerful tools to manage their businesses effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead product strategy and get buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.
- Define the product roadmap and prioritize what we need to build now versus later.
- Write and refine thorough technical product requirements.
- Work closely with the team to create intuitive and user-friendly checkout experiences and merchant tooling solutions.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze product performance metrics to measure the success of product initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously iterate on product features and functionality based on user feedback, market changes, and business goals.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience leading products through scaling.
- Familiarity with financial products, ideally with merchant checkout.
- Ability to see the big picture to form long-term product strategy in an evolving payments landscape.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Track record of executing large-scale launches that grow.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate on different levels of abstraction, from technical to executive.

Your base salary would fall within the bands below. Please keep in mind that the equity portion of your offer is not included in these numbers and represents a significant part of your total compensation.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at our headquarters in San Francisco, California. Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
