The role: Product Manager

Daybreak Health is creating a world where every young person can access—and benefit from—mental health support. To achieve our mission, we need the right technology to ensure young people can access care, our therapists can deliver care, and our partner organizations can have visibility into their youth’s care needs. Reporting to the Director of Product, you will be in a high impact high visibility role, instrumental in making it easier for more youth to get mental health support faster and more effectively.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify key pain points for our different users in the Daybreak Health care journey and appropriately manage tradeoffs and commercial needs to solve those problems
  • Drive key initiatives to reach conversion goals across the patient acquisition funnel
  • Investigate, scope, and drive development of key net new features within a technically ambiguous environment
  • Support and execute on the product development lifecycle end-to-end, from discovery and planning to execution to post-launch analysis, prioritizing high-impact solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Revenue, and Operations teams, to deliver better care to patients faster and more effectively 
  • “Roll up your sleeves” and drive results as a proactive, self-motivated product manager with the appropriate rigor and attention to detail for each stage of product development.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies, sharing insights to refine and evolve product development and strategy
  • Comfort with flexible hours across a global workforce and able to meet expectations of a hybrid role, with regular weekly participation in-office at our R&D office in Brooklyn, New York. 

What excites us:

  • Bachelor's degree or professional certification in a related field (e.g. business, engineering, computer science)
  • 2-3 years of product management experience in a rapid-growth startup environment, with a strong track record of delivering solutions by working directly with engineers, designers, and analytics team members.
  • Ability to take direction to execute effectively with a technology team while getting buy-in from a cross-functional team 
  • Strong problem-solving and execution skills around complex technical and user problems with the opportunity to grow into more strategic, longer term visioning.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver product features and improvements, working on new, zero to one initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Data-driven by default, with demonstrated capacity to use analytics and leverage testing best practices
  • Willingness to explore and own initiatives outside the scope of your product area
  • A bias towards rapid execution over process with comfort in navigating ambiguity
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in B2B2C software company within healthcare or education industries is strongly preferred
  • Experience with implementing and navigating third party tools that support end users such as Iterable, Zendesk, and Amplitude

The target base salary range for this position is $125,000-$145,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
