We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join our global team. This role involves overseeing the lifecycle of specialized sensors used for vibration measurement to operate in high-temperature environments. The Product Manager acts as a bridge between engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure the development, production, and successful market delivery of these sensors. Responsibilities include market analysis to identify customer needs, creating product roadmaps, defining technical requirements, managing product development timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Must be a US citizen. Unable to hire anyone with a Green card, Permanent Resident, or Visa Holder due to the clients this position will support. 

Travel for this position will be between 30% and 40%

Primary Responsibilities

The role requires technical expertise in sensor technology and applications, strong project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. The hands-on knowledge of the main players in the market is a huge plus: turbine manufacturers, aerospace customers, and energy market segments.

Your day-to-day work may include, but is not limited to:

  • Product and portfolio management of the dynamic transducers for HUMS (Health, Usage, and Monitoring Systems) applications mainly aerospace & defense, space, and energy applications.  Formulate clear product road maps, monitor product obsolescence process, and product life cycles control.

  • Oversee custom projects in our dynamic measurement competence centers in Europe and USA. Balances project priority with other departments requirements and needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance. Tracks product performance metrics and initiates continual improvement plans.

  • Drive product innovation and improvements, focusing on HT and HUMS applications. Performs high level project management duties.

  • Represents the customer interests during design review processes and presents the requirements to the representatives of other departments (Sales, Quality, Materials, etc.).

  • Together with sales specialists develops new market opportunities in the A&D, Energy, Industrial market with our HBK-unique high-temperature sensors.

  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.

  • Develop and execute product strategies to achieve business objectives.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support product launches and promotional activities.

  • Develops customer training materials to promote products.

  • Responsible for feature prioritization in case of a conflict.

  • Serves as a main gateway for customer feedback, determines the pathway for resolution.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering in a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven experience in product management, preferably in the aerospace, defense, space, or energy sectors or dynamic measurement.

  • Strong understanding of vibration/accelerometer technology and high-temperature applications.

Compensation

$100,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually
