The Role
As a Product Manager, Technical Solutions at Flume Health, you will be at the forefront of developing and optimizing data-driven products, bridging technical and business domains to deliver exceptional user and client outcomes. Your role will extend beyond internal collaboration to encompass meaningful interactions with external stakeholders, ensuring our solutions are not only technically robust but also aligned with market needs and client expectations.
This role is ideal for someone who combines a deep technical understanding of data systems with a strategic mindset for creating impactful, user-centric products. We are seeking candidates with a strong foundation in data and technical systems who thrive at the intersection of engineering, product strategy, and customer engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Define and drive, in consultation with leadership, the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on data insights and user feedback.
- Utilize data analytics to inform product decisions, identify opportunities for improvement, and measure product performance.
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand user needs and pain points, translating these into actionable product requirements.
- Engage directly with external customers to understand their needs, maintain strong relationships, and support sales efforts with product expertise.
- Leverage your technical knowledge to effectively communicate with engineering teams and ensure feasibility and scalability of product solutions.
- Follow competitors and conduct capability analysis regularly to stay ahead of the market.
- Plan, execute, and analyze experiments, including A/B tests, to validate product hypotheses.
- Stay updated on technical and industry trends, ensuring the product remains competitive and innovative.
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years of experience in technical product management, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proven experience managing or developing data products, including working with data pipelines, analytics platforms, or other data-centric solutions.
- Proficiency in data analytics and familiarity with programming languages like SQL or Python.
- Demonstrated experience in client engagement, including gathering feedback, managing relationships, and contributing to sales conversations.
- Experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar.
- Proven ability to develop and implement feedback collection systems and establish continuous feedback loops.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team of engineers possessing diverse interdisciplinary skill sets.
- Deep understanding of user experience and a passion for creating simple and effective solutions to identified user problems.
- Experience working in agile workflows such as Kanban using Lean principles
