Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for rare disease products, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
•Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
•Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of products, from launch planning to post-market surveillance, ensuring each phase meets regulatory requirements and market demands.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, regulatory, and medical affairs, to coordinate activities and ensure cohesive strategies.
•Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for marketing activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and achieving financial targets.
•Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and external partners, to support the franchise’s objectives.
•Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on product performance, providing regular updates to senior management and recommending adjustments to strategies as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably on Rare Diseases or specialty products.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory and market dynamics specific to rare diseases.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to address them.
• Product Marketing: Expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies for pharmaceutical products, particularly in the rare disease segment.
• Data Analysis: Proficiency in using data analytics tools to gather and interpret market data, track product performance, and inform strategic decisions.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements for rare disease products, including orphan drug designations and market exclusivity.
• Digital Marketing: Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques, including social media, content marketing, and digital advertising.
• CRM Tools: Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems to manage customer interactions and data.
• Market Access: Knowledge of market access strategies, including pricing, reimbursement, and payer engagement specific to rare diseases.
• Brand Management: Skills in building and managing strong brands, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall company vision and values.
