JOB SUMMARY
As a Digital Product Manager - Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) you will be a key player in supporting product delivery within the Takeda portfolio and are responsible for ensuring the products offers strong customer and business value propositions. This role focuses on supporting the product team and business stakeholders by defining capability roadmaps, calculating business value, defining requirements, and managing product teams.
OBJECTIVES

  • Understands the needs of users and works closely with the product team and business stakeholders on objectives, priorities, and feasibility to define technology roadmaps.
  • Performs product backlog prioritization and provides recommendations on features needed for the product for future stages of development.
  • Part of the team that drives the delivery of the end-to-end product lifecycle and determine the specifications of the features and requirements for implementation.
  • Prepares materials (product roadmaps, presentations, specifications) used to communicate to stakeholders and the product team on current state and future state initiatives.
  • Performs user acceptance testing (UAT) on user stories and new capabilities to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria.
  • Works with business stakeholders to define value of initiatives to the business to ensure there are quantifiable metrics to track and report success.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Executes prioritized feature roadmap, target outcomes, and product performance metrics.
  • Supports the creation of stories, epics, and themes with defined acceptance criteria for development. Maintain and manage user stories and backlog.
  • Understands voice of customer and how to solve business problems with the right technology solutions.
  • Leads SteerCo and Change Approval Board meetings to educate leadership teams on roadmaps, project plans, technology changes, and progress of implementations.
  • Work with a Core Team of engineers to provide market/customer context, build detailed requirement stories that define product solutions to customer needs, define phased execution of requirements where necessary, and answer questions as needed.
  • Support the development of a deep contextual understanding of our customers, our users, and their needs.
  • Manage product teams while leveraging SDLC RACI and metrics reporting to create clarity and accountability.
  • Prepares materials to demonstrate ability to provide level of transparency and visibility with cross-functional partners including leadership and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable generating and evaluating data to guide decisions.
  • Collect information that steers implementation partners and making decisions.
  • Ensure product follows all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.


Additional Job Description
Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of IT experience with bachelor's degree or 5 years IT experience without bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
  • Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro, etc.).
  • Experience with planning and managing all phases of product development (e.g., requirements gathering, design, configuration, development, commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS) selection, testing, conversion, and application support).
  • Ability to write and speak in the English language.


Desired:

  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer-facing industry experience desired.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
108,500.00 - 170,500.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
