The Role

Skytap, a Kyndryl Company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager – Cloud Networking to lead the product strategy, development, and execution of networking solutions within our cloud platform. In this role, you will drive the integration of advanced cloud networking services, collaborate with our engineering team, cloud providers, network vendors. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure networking features that meet the needs of enterprise customers running both modern and traditional workloads in the cloud.

Your Responsibilities:  

  • Networking Vision & Roadmap: Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Skytap’s cloud networking features, including integration with public cloud services (Azure, IBM Cloud, AWS and ohers). 

  • Technical Leadership: Work closely with engineering teams to provide technical input on architecture, design, and implementation of network solutions. Must be able to delve into the technical details and guide development efforts. 

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of cloud networking features, from concept to delivery, ensuring continuous innovation and alignment with market. 

  • Customer-Centric Development: Engage with customers to understand their networking challenges and translate feedback into product improvements and innovations. 

  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities, using this knowledge to shape the future of Skytap’s cloud networking offerings.

Who You Are

Your Qualifications: 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on cloud networking, infrastructure, or related technologies. 

  • Proven experience delivering cloud networking solutions, such as VPNs, SD-WAN, VPCs, firewalls, and load balancers. 

  • Expertise working with public cloud platforms such as Azure, IBM or AWS Cloud. 

 

Technical Knowledge: 

  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, MPLS, VPN) and software-defined networking (SDN). 

  • Hands-on experience with networking features in public clouds (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, or similar). 

  • Familiarity with network security concepts and cloud security practices. 

  • Understanding of IBM Power systems 

Skills: 

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, presentation, and written and oral communication skills. 

  • Experience managing the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch. 

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to use data-driven insights to guide decision-making. 

  • Agile project management experience.

Certifications (Bonus): 

  • Azure Network Engineer Associate 

  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty 

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) 

 

Education:  

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field, or equivalent technical experience.  

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. 

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $134,160 to $200,000 based on a full-time schedule.  Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: Washington: $147,600 to $200,000  This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
