Micron is hiring a Product Manager in the Client and Graphics team within the Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU)! This role will be responsible with defining and implementing the strategy for an industry-leading product portfolio! In addition, this role will lead a cross-functional team of key representatives from organizations spanning engineering, operations, marketing, quality, and more to develop the portfolio strategy, optimize the business case of each product, drive products through each stage of Micron’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, and internally guide the development of new products. The assigned portfolio will represent a significant portion of Micron’s revenue and include innovative technologies that are critical for enabling future solutions in client market segments – which include AI PC and other computing applications. We are looking for an ambitious and influential leader who possess an entrepreneurial spirit and the creativity to resolve a wide array of complex challenges.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish the multi-year product strategy and roadmap, in collaboration with the cross-functional core team
  • Establish and lead the product strategy across functional organizations to reach the portfolio and business goals.
  • Own and lead full life cycle of the product portfolio from definition to end-of-life, including timely preparation and presentation of all stage gates and key product decisions
  • Internally demonstrate and articulate the product value proposition across key workloads, use cases, and market segments
  • Champion a deep understanding of the ‘problems to solve’ for our customers, memory technology trends, system architecture trends and competing solutions to define product features, priorities, schedule, and other requirements
  • Establish a comprehensive understanding of key competitor portfolio, strategies, solutions, and capabilities
  • Act as the internal spokesperson to represent product strategies and requirements to all relevant partners
  • Understand, track, and refine internal plans related to the portfolio - including personnel resource, manufacturing, and development activities
  • Build and coordinate business processes to optimize product management functions

Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
  • MBA, Master’s Degree, and experience in engineering management is preferred
  • 5+ years of product management or product development with significant experience in both technical and business roles in the semiconductor industry
  • Solid understanding of standard methodologies in silicon product development – related to specification, architecture definition, design implementation, validation/verification, and system integration
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with experience in facilitating executive escalations, articulating product vision and strategy, driving cross-functional development teams and engaging with customer
  • Outstanding leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to encourage and align diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering world-class solutions.
  • Ability to compete in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving market conditions.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
