Join the team providing financial solutions to over 35 million Consumers across the country at one of the world's most innovative banks. JPMorgan Chase is seeking the next Deposit Product Strategy leader to lead work across key customer segments.
As a Product Management Director in Deposits 2.0 team, you are an expert in creating cross-product synergies. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to innovate on cross product-line coordination, remove barriers to success, and create ways for teams to continuously innovate on solutions-focused products and product features.
As the Product Management Director, you will lead a team focused on researching, identifying and defining new scalable products and experiences to address customer needs and establish franchise value for the Consumer Bank. You will manage and lead a team across various backgrounds in a "product garage" type of mentality by continuously iterating on ideas and defining our value proportion and creating a learning agenda. You will possess a good intellect, natural curiosity, and the ability to work across various stakeholders, including leading a team of people with various backgrounds.
Job responsibilities

  • Works across products and product lines to help recommend delivery against business activities.
  • Executes the strategy for reporting and communications to support our portfolio management operations and change initiatives.
  • Develops and coaches a team to best implement the strategy for adapting and executing the full product-line framework and reviews our core cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs are realized.
  • Implements portfolio-level tracking of controls, financials, resourcing needs, and key prioritization decisions.
  • Innovates and owns the ideation, strategy, and definition of our future deposit business customer value proposition and test plan.
  • Leads customer research with curiosity, innovative and market intelligence, opportunity sizing, and planning.
  • Shares and prepares executive presentations for Leadership at various forums, and management meetings to make decisions.
  • Partners with Finance and Analytics to assess product feasibility and create business case to meet revenue and market share activities.
  • Leads and drives cross-functional partnerships, inspiring and influencing colleagues, and gaining alignment with stakeholders.
  • Collaborates closely with other segment product strategy leads to improve a consistent customer experience and that our products are designed with a customer first mentality


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization
  • Demonstrate ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness and portfolio management initiatives.
  • Demonstrate ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management/product strategy type of role
  • Being a curious by asking questions and expressing your ideas and asking others to share theirs.
  • Action driven by trying things and constantly doing discovery work so you can test out your hypothesis.
  • Diverse problem-solving experience, such as experience with strategy groups/consulting
  • Ability to analyze problems, communicate effectively and confidently, and influence work in cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations (storytelling) with excellent verbal skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of personal initiative, excellent work ethic, proactively setting and achieving challenging plans.
  • Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers; eagerness to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
