The Product Line Manager – Workday Core and Local HRIS is a critical position responsible for the product management, digital support, and configuration sustainment of the Workday Core HCM module, Local HRIS systems, and People Insight tools. This leader will be responsible for creating a rationalized HRIS portfolio which will likely result in the consolidation and decommissioning of legacy local HRIS instances to ensure global alignment with Core Models. This leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on a strategic roadmap that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of HRIS systems across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Product Management Leadership: Oversee the product team managing Workday Core, Local HRIS, and Insights portfolio.

  • Workday Expertise: Lead the functional configuration of the Workday Core HCM module, ensuring it meets organizational needs and drives value. Optimize the use of Workday to support global HR processes.

  • Digital Support and Configuration Sustainment: Manage the digital support and configuration sustainment of core HRIS technologies, ensuring continuous improvement and optimal performance. Oversee tenant management, security administration, and the integration of local HRIS systems into the global framework.

  • HRIS Rationalization: Drive the rationalization or decommissioning of local HRIS systems to achieve global standardization and efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition and adoption of global HRIS processes.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including P&C Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Digital, People Services, and local market HR teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of Workday and Local HRIS solutions.

About You

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital product management, or related fields, with at least 5 years working with HRIS systems preferably in a lead role managing a digital delivery team or external providers.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with extensive experience in Workday Core HCM configuration and security management. WD HCM Pro certification preferred. Familiarity with local HRIS systems and their integration with global platforms is highly desirable.

  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of core HRIS data elements, core model maintenance and localization needs developed through experience in complex matrixed global organizations.

  • Business Analytics & Requirements: Comfort eliciting business requirements, analyzing, and evaluating current state solutions and advising on best practices to deliver best in class configurations. Ability to coach and motivate a team in this area.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven leadership skills with a track record of building and managing a team through complex technology initiatives working across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to anticipate business needs, manage technical debt, and deliver on a strategic roadmap. Strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience in leading change management initiatives is a plus.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Human Resources, or a related field required. Advanced degree or relevant certifications in HRIS, Workday, or workforce management are preferred.

Sanofi's Bridgewater, NJ office is scheduled to relocate to Morristown, NJ on or around March 24, 2025 and this role will then be based in Morristown, NJ.​

The salary range for this position is:

$148,125.00 - $246,875.00
