Job Description
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Fully responsible for all the specialty fat products, Vanaspati, IE production, packing quality and texture wrt the market demand and strict quality and compliance adherence.
- Responsible for the selection of ultimate blend, recipe for each specific product depending upon market, season and costing.
- Plan and execute Vanaspati, IE production planning as to meet the market demand.
- Market visits, R&D on Vanaspati, and other specialty fat products in terms of customer requirement and quality of production
- Attend market review sessions, complaints and surveys and prepare action plan and implement for betterment.
- Control day to day Vanaspati/IE production activities like oil blends, Chemical consumption, Packing, Cold room operations, Ammonia plant operations
- Coordinate with logistics & execution department for crude oil supply and product dispatches.
- Coordinate with stores and purchase for Hydrogen gas, chemicals, spares and consumables for hydrogenation/IE production.
- Coordinate with service departments for Plant routine, planned and Shutdown Maintenance.
- Employee orientation, development, and training for Operators.
- Implement Safety, Health & Environment Policy, Process safety management and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Performance management and improvement systems
