As a Product Engineer, you’ll join the Maintenance and Product Introduction team - a multifaceted group with strong technical and project management expertise, working in an agile scrum environment. The team works closely with Operations and Engineering and acts as a bridge between design and manufacturing. The team ensures robust production solutions for the Elekta Neuro business line, which includes the Leksell Gamma Knife and Leksell Vantage Stereotactic System.
In this role, you’ll drive engineering changes and manage the entire product lifecycle for existing Neuro products, as well as support the release of new products to manufacturing as part of the release project team.
What you’ll do at Elekta
In short, the Product Engineer will take on responsibilities such as:

Driving engineering change initiatives.

Cross-functional collaboration with production and internal stakeholders.

Resolving product defects, manufacturing issues and component obsolescence issues.

Releasing and implementing product updates for production.

Acting as technical support to our suppliers (production).

Verification, as part of engineering changes.
What you bring
To be successful in this role, we believe you should have experience working with complex hardware production processes, and experience in the Medical Equipment Manufacturing industry is a plus. We believe you should have:

A completed university degree in Electrical engineering or another relevant field.

Knowledge of Design Change Control.

Experience in manufacturing processes, including creating manufacturing documentation, risk analysis, and defining product requirements.

Hands-on working experience in PLM/PDM systems (we use Enovia) and familiarity with an ERP system (we use Infor M3).

Product knowledge of CBCT imaging systems is a plus.

Familiarity with REACH, RoHS and EMC compliance standards.
