Product Director – Payouts

About this role
Payouts is a ~$1T revenue market globally in 2024, expected to grow at high-single-digits over the next 5 years. We are looking for a Product leader who is ready to upscale how Worldpay can move money for our ~1m customers.
As a Product Director – Payouts you will mentor a team of Product Managers and Product Owners on their effective delivery of Payout Product innovation. You will be experienced in establishing new ways of working and act as a role model of product values, to support our planned growth.
About the team:
Worldpay has a dedicated Payouts team, spanning Product, Strategy, Commercialisation and Sales. You will sit within the Product team, collaborating closely with our wider change delivery function and commercial teams.
Working within the Payouts Product team for WorldPay you will operate as a leader of change, acting on behalf of our current and future customers. You will own multiple customer experiences and be tasked with innovating on our current capabilities and/or designing new solutions to emerging opportunities, for measurable benefit. You will own delivery end to end supported by dedicated Engineering resource and Operations expertise from across the business.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Guide and influence your team’s clarity of vision, strategy and OKR’s, taking ownership of the aggregate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product goals and delivery phases with overall business objectives.
Team Leadership:
- Innovate on our ways of working for measurable improvements.
- Inspire thought leadership and operate as a role model for complex change ownership and delivery.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and ongoing enhancement, with a focus on seamless integration into our business.
- Work closely with development leads and business stakeholders to prioritize features and improvements based on customer and market needs.
Market Analysis and Competitor Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities within the card issuance landscape.
- Conduct regular market research to identify opportunities for product differentiation and improvement.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for our solutions and regularly assess product performance.
- Identify areas for optimization and work with relevant teams to implement improvements, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
Experience you will bring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
- 2 years + Product Leadership experience
- Deep knowledge of Payouts customer experience needs
- Ability to integrate change into complex operational/technical environments.
- Strong negotiation, organization, analytical, collaboration and people skills.
- A collaborative leader–passionate about growing and sharing your skills to help other team members develop and refine their talents.
