Job Description
As a Product Director in Digital & Platform Services (D&PS) Strategy, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs. You will be an integral to the newly established Client Relationship Management (CRM) Transformation Program, responsible for developing a singular, consistent, and comprehensive view of clients by connecting data across various lines of business solutions and external sources. In this role, you will be advancing the strategic vision and execution of a comprehensive data platform that delivers a unified view of client interactions and insights across the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB). You will oversee a cross-functional team to design, construct, and manage a robust data platform that aligns with the CRM program's objectives, enhancing client engagement and fostering business growth. You will drive initiatives to ensure data quality and compliance while integrating data from diverse sources to provide actionable insights.
Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth.
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives.
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation.
  • Develops and executes a strategic vision for the Client 360 Data Platform as a foundational product, ensuring alignment with the CIB-wide CRM program and broader organizational goals.
  • Oversees the design and implementation of the data platform, focusing on key components such as data ingestion, consumption, analytics, observability, lineage, and entitlements. Ensure the platform supports a unified view of client interactions.
  • Leverages advanced analytics, including machine learning and AI, to derive insights from integrated data and third-party sources, developing comprehensive client profiles that enhance decision-making, client engagement, and relationship management across business units.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders across Markets, Payments, Banking, and the Private Bank to understand business needs, drive consistency, and ensure scaled adoption of analytics across the enterprise.
  • Utilizes the platform to deliver personalized client experiences and streamline data management processes, enhancing operational efficiency, decision-making, and business growth while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Positions the platform as a key differentiator in the financial services industry by offering innovative solutions, establishing performance metrics for continuous improvement, and building a high-performing team that fosters collaboration and excellence.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Significant years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale data integration and analytics projects.
  • Strong understanding of data integration and aggregation techniques, data governance, data privacy regulations, and master data management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders across multiple functions to drive data-driven innovation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking about data products and their impacts on business objectives to drive strategic initiatives and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and present complex data concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics and CRM.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Recognized thought leader within the data governance and integration field.
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • Extensive experience in data platform management, CRM systems, or related fields within a financial institution.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
