Job Description

Manager of Product Operations is accountable for the project management of all product development & production initiatives, helping to deliver Vuori’s product strategy and the strategic growth goals for the Product Development departments. This role will report to the SVP of Product Dev/Production and will work closely with the core Product Development teams, and cross-functional partners focused on Design, Merchandising, Planning, Product to Market, Raw Material Planning and Sourcing. This person is an experienced product operations manager that will lead the facilitation, planning and implementation of strategic initiatives and process development for the team to ensure the execution and alignment across all departments.

Qualifications

What you'll get to do: 

  • Guide the Product Development team in creating process documentation for new workflows and help facilitate and drive the functions forward 
  • Establish clear, standardized processes for tracking and managing projects
  • Assist in building department KPI goals; adoption ratios, fabric, on time delivery and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, implementation schedules, resource plans and budgets for key meetings 
  • Lead and coordinate projects and associated activities, defines deliverables and milestones; ensures follow up on all key initiatives
  • Supports the annual long range planning process within each function as a guided thought partner and visionary 
  • Manage the preparation timeline and provide support on presentation building for brand meetings, offsite sessions, investor, and Board of Directors meetings
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to help execute important strategic initiatives to drive operational scale and efficiency 
  • Support implementation of Tech related projects and tool implantation, in support of the Product Development team (i.e., PLM integration, new data platforms) 
  • Partner with Director of Brand Calendar on navigating calendar shifts and finding solutions to deliver on time milestone execution 

Who you are: 

  • 6+ years product development and/or project management experience in specialty retail apparel brands 
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field 
  • Strong understanding of apparel Product Lifecycle 
  • Experience delivering high growth at the brand or category level 
  • Strong group facilitation skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, issue resolution, and relationship management. Demonstrated ability to negotiate
  • Ability to influence across the organization, particularity around strategic issues and change management to bring structured, organized workflow to multi-layer team with cross functional dependencies 
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and operate under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency 
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel) 
  • Demonstrated ability to create PowerPoint presentations that take large amounts of information and data and present them articulately and succinctly with a clear vision to the executive team

The salary range for this role is $125,000 per year - $145,000 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
