About you:
As a Product Designer, you will be playing a major role in creating an engaging, empathetic, and elegant product that people love to use, improves their lives, and engages them each step of the way.
You have a deep passion for creating health products and will use your full range of product design, interaction design, and design research skills as we create January AI’s products and bring them to market quickly. As an end-to-end experience designer, you’ll be supporting our product team in thinking through research findings, concept ideation, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams on the development of our product.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to design and iterate based on product performance metrics such as conversion, activation, or retention.
- Demonstrated success using quick iteration and user feedback loops to inform design decisions and enhance the usability and performance of key flows.
- A minimum of 2 years designing user interfaces or experiences for consumer-facing products.
- Experience in UX or interaction design, putting people at the center of design decisions
- Team player who is ready to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to develop ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
- Mastery of design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma
- Desire to join an early-stage mission-driven startup where you will be instrumental in setting a team culture, creative process, and product approach
A day at January’s Design Team
- Design user-centric experiences that are incredibly simple, intuitive, and elegant
- Create design patterns, style guides, mockups, wireframes, and prototypes for mobile products
- Perform user testing and lead research efforts to inform and validate design decisions
- Collaborate effectively with other designers, product managers, and engineers to build and ship delightful products
