About this Role

Advocates for a user-centered approach to product development and designs accordingly. Partners closely with product management and engineering throughout the product and feature design and development process. Collaborates closely with various stakeholders (including, but not limited to internal product management and research) to ensure teams have a solid grasp of the customer definition and competitive landscape before moving into design. May support the creation of or use discovery UX deliverables prepared by UX researchers (such as personas and journey maps) to improve the customer experience across the entire lifecycle of our portfolio. Is responsible for the execution of the requirements through design methods and deliverables such as flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual designs. Looks out for ease of use, quality, and accessibility in product solutions. Conducts workshops and cross-functional design sessions to draw out the best thinking from the team. Tests concepts and prototypes to refine with user feedback.

 

What you will be doing

Experienced professional using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Works independently but receives guidance and direction from leader then determines best approach to accomplish work. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Requires working knowledge and expanded conceptual knowledge in primary technical job family and broadens capabilities; has worked with and is proficient with current technologies.

Develops relationship with peer stakeholders within and across teams and builds productive working relationships.

 

What we need to have:

Bachelors + 5 years of related experience

Executes design tasks for a specific set of features for a defined product.

Creates usable designs, concepts, and prototypes and coordinates the development of design resources such as content templates, samples, and guidelines

  • Validates concepts with end user and drafts enhancement.

Demonstrates proficient knowledge in network or security.

Collaborates cross-functionally to identify user problems and recommends methods to gain customer insights

  • Facilitates requirements sessions with engineers to gather design specifications.
  • Applies user-centered methodologies and research in product design.

Delivers and defends customercentered design presentations to internal users and team members.
