What You’ll Do

We are seeking an entrepreneurial product designer to evolve our core products and delight our key customers. We are looking for somebody with a deep passion for working with children and a healthy obsession with delighting customers and creating an intuitive, delightful customer experience. In this job, your primary areas of responsibility will be:

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver best in class, innovative user experiences for after school directors & enrichment providers. These experiences should solve identified customer needs or impact KPIs.
  • Generate wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms. 
  • Translate user insights into design solutions that enhance the overall user experience and drive engagement.
  • Initiate and conduct user/market, usability and competitive design research to deepen the team’s understanding of different customer needs.
  • Ensure Togetherhood’s brand identity is considered and integrated into all features.
  • Conduct internal QA tests to ensure deliveries meet initial design specifications.
  • Work with the operations team to drive measurable UX decisions.

Who you are

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer, with a portfolio showcasing successful design projects.
  • Familiarity with designing for responsive web and mobile platforms.
  • A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to advocate for the user throughout the design process.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for pushing the boundaries of design.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • An enthusiasm for children’s enrichment and education and a genuine interest in contributing to the success of our marketplace.
