About the Team

Our Product Design team is dedicated to transforming the future of personal styling. We balance fast-paced experimentation with design excellence, ensuring that every Stitch Fix experience—from onboarding to styling recommendations—feels intuitive, engaging, and delightful.

We partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data Science to craft personalized, data-driven experiences that connect millions of clients with expert Stylists.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Product Design Leader to play a critical role in leading design, strategy, and vision across the Styling and Fix experience. You’ll lead a team responsible for evolving our Fix and Styling experiences to increase revenue, improve Fix conversion, and drive client retention. 

This unique role will look across our client-facing and Stylist-facing experiences. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how clients experience Stitch Fix, from personalized styling recommendations to seamless post-Fix engagement, ensuring every interaction is intuitive, high-performing, and engaging. This role requires a leader who can balance design craft, experimentation, and business impact while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.

  • Manage a team of senior product designers and writers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and measurable impact.
  • Help to develop a long-term vision for the Fix & Styling experience, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, high-impact solutions that drive Fix revenue, retention and satisfaction.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and Marketing to improve key business metrics.
  • Ensuring a seamless experience that increases client retention and satisfaction.
  • Elevate the experience for Stylists by refining tools and workflows, making it easier to deliver personalized styling at scale.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and resonate across diverse client demographics.
  • Establish scalable routines, improving execution speed, iteration cycles, and collaboration across teams.

  • Have 8+ years of product design experience in e-commerce, consumer tech, or a similar field, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to drive transformative experiences.
  • Have 3+ years of leadership experience in product design, directly managing a team.
  • Bring a strategic mindset, with experience owning UX strategies that have significantly impacted metrics.
  • Possess deep knowledge of interaction design, user-centered frameworks, and accessibility best practices.
  • Are a creative problem solver who excels at driving alignment across cross-functional teams and influencing product direction.
  • Demonstrate a passion for innovation, keeping up with industry trends and bringing fresh ideas to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits
This role will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and equity. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, location, and performance.This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. Salary Range

$144,200$212,000 USD
