Job Summary: 

Apex is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Product Design Intern specifically focused on widget design. This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the widget design process, from concept to execution, and contribute to projects that challenge your creativity and technical skills. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and design inventive widgets. 

• Create detailed sketches, wireframes, and prototypes specific to widget applications. 

• Conduct research on widget usability and design trends to inform development. 

• Assist in user testing and gathering feedback to refine widget designs. 

• Work closely with engineers and developers to ensure widget designs are practical and adhere to technical specifications. 

• Help prepare design assets and documentation required for production and marketing. 

Education and Experience: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field. 

• Senior standing, May 2026 graduate 

• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent. 

• Understanding of widget-specific design principles, including user experience and interface design. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities. 

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines 

• General interest in Fintech.  

Work Environment: 

• This internship operates in an office environment. 

• This internship operates on a hybrid schedule in Austin, TX 

Salary: 

• $25 per hour.
