As a Product Delivery, Senior Associate in our Product Development Team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to execute on key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficiencies
- Supports the completion of change management activities across functional partners and monitors adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Raises blockers and other impediments to the Product Delivery Manager to manage dependencies and ensure adequate resources
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and delivery timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related aspects, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and customers, and providing regular updates on project progress and feature developments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and measurement plans, while ensuring transparency through high-quality product updates and leadership communications.
- Work closely with engineering leads and product owners to design solutions that support product goals, define testing plans, and showcase sprint outputs to users and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with end users, test teams, and relevant stakeholders to align test environments and facilitate effective execution of end-to-end testing.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans to maintain project momentum and resolve blockers.
- Ensure adherence to best practices throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to the successful delivery of project objectives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated performance in either product management or relevant domain area
- Experience executing operational management and change readiness activities
- Experience in product deployment processes
- Detailed understanding & experience in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Agile, Scrum).
- Proven experience of building strong, cohesive partnerships with key stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to senior mgmt. and clients
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- A commercial mind-set to deliver short, medium and long term strategies to achieve sustained efficiency, an innovative thought process, and focus on simplification
- Understanding of Talent and Learning development
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience with Oracle Human Capital Management software in Learning or Talent Development
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
