As a Product Delivery Manager in Learn you work to enhance and optimize the way products are delivered to customers. As a key member of the team, you create solutions and efficiencies that enable successful implementations in an expedient and organized way. You will consult with learning partners and developers on digital learning design and tool selection. You will become an expert in one or more digital learning development tools. You'll use that expertise to drive adoption of our tools, improve learning partner and developer skills and ultimately improve the quality and impact of the learning assets we create.
Job responsibilities
- Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
- Consults with learning partners on learning design and development tool selection
- Offers guidance and support, troubleshoot learning partner and developer issues
- Serves as product owner and/or relationship manager for one or more development tool
- Offers regular training sessions to drive utilization of tools and features
- Evangelizes new modalities, tools, experiences, etc.
- Partners closely with Learn UX on deployment of new modalities, learner experiences, etc.
- Responds to Learn Dev questions on development tools and design
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
- Experience in designing, developing and troubleshooting web, print, video, audio, graphic and multimedia deliverables
- Strong knowledge in educational technology, adult learning and educational best practices
- Proven accomplishment in consulting, building inclusive partnerships and relationships with customers and internal clients; openness to multiple perspectives; work both independently and collaboratively to achieve outcomes
- Knowledge of ADA and WCAG 2.1 levels A-AA requirements and experience developing fully accessible digital solutions
- Extensive software skill experience - strong proficiency in four or more learning development tools/languages (Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Animate, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SCORM, Synthesia, Play HT, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail in developing and publishing learning solutions, and ensuring accuracy and quality of content
- Strong organizational, project and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fast moving, deadline-driven and agile development environment; demonstrated timely task completion and quality of deliverables
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Experience designing for a millennial audience with stimulating ideas - not your "traditional" page-turners
- Experience in learning gamification, video/audio production and editing, generative AI, 3D modeling, Figma
- Experience researching, evaluating, and prototyping emerging technologies/approaches and consult on potential application in learning
- Ability to identify, learn, and troubleshoot new tools, platforms, and production processes
- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Digital Media Design, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, User Experience/User Interface, Computer Science, Instructional Design and digital marketing or similar degree, or equivalent extensive work experience
