Printpack, a leading manufacturer of medical packaging products, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Product Cost Analyst. This position is located in Marshall, NC, and will report to the Division Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance of general ledger and account reconciliations
-
Complete monthly financial closing process with assistance
-
Perform analysis and interpretation of operational performance
-
Be responsible for product costing and inventory valuations
-
Monitor and review job cost data and investigate unusual items
-
Collaborate with other departments and plants to achieve plant objectives
-
Develop leadership skills designed to drive process improvement projects
-
Assist with quarterly forecasting process
-
Be a key contributor to the Printpack Continuous Improvement Process
-
Perform analysis and interpretation of operational performance
-
Perform inventory costing roll up
-
Monitor inventory and investigate/correct unusual items in inventory
-
Monitor and review job cost study data and investigate/correct unusual items
-
Assist Division Controller in meeting plant objectives
-
Assist with the monthly financial closing process
-
Communicate effectively with all levels of plant and administrative associates
-
Strong local leadership presence in production
-
Ability to interpret and have a positive influence on operational results
-
Strong working knowledge of Printpack systems and financial policies
Minimum Requirements:
-
A recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
-
2-3 years of work experience in related field (for Plant Cost Analyst)

Exhibits application of analytical abilities and collaborative mindset
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
-
Related work experience or internship in this field is a plus

High Excel proficiency

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and in teams as needed

Be able to prioritize and multitask the workflow
