THE ROLE & THE TEAM
Zalando’s Plus Loyalty Convenience team is looking for a Product Analyst to join us at the very beginning of our Loyalty journey, and deliver on the strategy for how we make the program more appealing to our customers through compelling offers and benefits that drive engagement. As we’re scaling the program, you’ll be the analytical partner working highly cross-functionally, reacting to early quantitative and qualitative customers to improve the program short-term, while working toward a cohesive longer-term strategy to strengthen customer relationships over time.

Effectively collaborate across a variety of technical and non-technical functions to drive toward common product goals

Drive the data mindset in the team and provide guidance to your team members in terms of methodology & technology to raise the bar within the department. Collaborate with other analysts, data scientists, engineers, and commercial colleagues to unleash new sources of data and know-how.

Autonomously manage analytical projects, identify efficiency opportunities, and support decision-making with insights from descriptive and inferential analysis.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

You have 3+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering and generating data-driven insights to answer business questions, you are proficient in performing exploratory analysis with minimal direction to answer ambiguous open-ended questions.

You showcase advanced skills in data methodologies and technologies (Python and SQL, PySpark). Visualization tools, e.g. MicroStrategy, Tableau, Looker. You are curious about learning new technologies, e.g. Databricks, AWS data lake, Airflow

You have a fundamental understanding of predictive modeling and/or forecasting techniques

You are a strong communicator who questions the status quo, tells data stories, maximizes the decision impact of your results, and you are a liaison with commercial and tech people alike.
