As a Procurement Specialist at IMC, you will drive IT procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts to align with company goals. You'll work closely with legal and business teams to optimize spend, ensure timely contract renewals, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute IT procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals
  • Analyse data, identify benchmarks, conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends
  • Pricing and contract negotiations, contract administration, work closely with suppliers to get solutions before ETA's
  • Closely work with legal and business to mitigate contractual risks
  • Responsible for raising PO's, registering contracts, asset tracking, support and warranty extensions and other procurement operational duties
  • Monitor IT procurement budget for optimal spend on IT infrastructure
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through volume bundling, process efficiencies, etc.
  • Ensure timely contract renewals, amendments, and terminations while maintaining an accurate contract repository.
  • Provide regular spend analyses and procurement performance reports to leadership.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in IT procurement, preferably within the financial services or high-frequency trading sector.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and managing IT contracts and suppliers, with an in-depth understanding of IT products, services, and market trends.
  • Detail-oriented with organizational and multitasking abilities, coupled with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Profound experience of working on excel/word and hands on experience with using tools , e.g., Workday, Conga/Novatus, Workday, Qlik, Rubik.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are a plus.
