Procurement Manager
Hypertherm Associates is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the OMAX team in Kent, Washington. Key responsibilities as the Procurement Manager:

Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of Procurement Associates, helping them achieve their performance goals and grow in their careers

Strategic Development: Develop and implement holistic strategies for material categories to meet both short and long-term business needs

Inventory Management: Oversee supply replenishment methods and manage inventory to align with company goals

Cost Management: Determine Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), implement cost-saving initiatives, and develop cost transparency models with suppliers

Supplier Management: Manage purchase orders, resolve supply disruptions, and provide feedback for supplier performance reviews

Demand Forecasting: Communicate forecasted demand with suppliers and verify their capacity to meet demand

ERP Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy of ERP data for purchased parts

New Product Introduction (NPI): Facilitate NPI with suppliers and manage new item setup

Performance Reporting: Regularly report on supply chain performance, including inventory turns, supplier on-time delivery, and purchase price variance
Who you are and the experience you bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience: Minimum of 7 years in procurement or supply chain management

Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and influence strategic decisions

Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically while supporting tactical operations

Cost Reduction: Experience in driving strategic cost reduction and removing supply chain risks

Process Improvement: Experience in developing SIOP processes and removing waste from procurement processes

Technical Expertise: Experience with metal parts (forming, casting, extrusions, machining), electronics, and cables

Global Sourcing: Experience in international procurement and sourcing

NPD: Experience in New Product Development

Advanced Degree: MS/MBA with 6-8 years of experience

$111,469.00-$185,782.13 AnnualThis is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
