The Process Specialist is crucial to ensuring the efficient and high-quality operation of production processes involving vision cameras (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) and pressing systems (e.g., Schunk, Kistler, Maximo). This role involves overseeing production activities, managing a team, optimizing processes, and maintaining compliance with Bosch’s stringent standards and regulations. As a member of the Task Force department, the Process Specialist must be highly self-motivated, focused, and results-oriented, with a strong commitment to high-quality results.
Scope & Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and Manage Task Force department activities related to vision cameras and pressing systems, managing a team of operators and technicians to ensure production goals are met while adhering to Bosch’s quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Implement, monitor, and enforce safety protocols to comply with Bosch’s safety regulations and industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any production issues.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment, and perform regular calibrations and troubleshooting for vision cameras and pressing systems transferring the knowledge to the Plant's technical departments (Maintenance and Manufacturing)
Requisitos
Knowledge
- Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of vision camera technologies (Cognex, Keyence) and pressing systems (Schunk, Kistler, Maximo).
- Manufacturing Processes: Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, production techniques, and quality control.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with Bosch’s production systems, safety protocols, and industry regulatory requirements.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Extensive Production Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- - Demonstrated track record of overseeing complex production processes involving advanced technologies.
- Machinery Acceptance and Implementation: Proven experience in machinery acceptance, including evaluating and validating new equipment to ensure it meets production and quality standards.
- Involvement in the successful integration and commissioning of machinery into existing production lines.
- Bosch Standards Compliance: Demonstrated accomplishment in adhering to Bosch’s rigorous production standards and quality protocols.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives to align with Bosch’s high standards for manufacturing excellence.
- Machinery Modifications: Expertise in identifying, recommending, and implementing modifications to machinery to enhance performance, efficiency, and adaptability. Proven ability to oversee or lead projects involving machinery upgrades or reconfigurations.
- Technology Adaptation: Experience in adapting and integrating new technologies into production processes. Ability to stay abreast of technological advancements and incorporate relevant innovations to improve production capabilities and efficiency.
Certifications
- Lean Manufacturing, Shainin/ RedX or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA).
- Certifications for Vision Systems; Cognex, Keyence or Certified Vision System Integrator.
- Industrial Pressing Systems Specialist Certification as Hydraulic and Pneumatic (Kisler, Maximo or Schunk)
Technical Competence
- Production Management: Proficiency in production management software and systems.
- Equipment Maintenance: Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Data Analysis: Ability to deeply analyze production data and implement effective improvements.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on achieving high-quality results.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing conditions, and maintain a high level of focus on achieving results.
- The Process Specialist will be a key member of the Task Force department, requiring a high level of self-motivation, a focused approach to tasks, and a commitment to expediting results while maintaining a high standard of quality.
