What you will do:

  • Act as a Process SME, Demand Planning for Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to develop & write business requirements and use cases. Develop implementation, testing and deployment plans for Demantra to drive simplification and best practices for the Integrated Business Planning organization (~30 people)
  • Lead efforts to design, test & implement solutions and supply chain system landscape like Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Oracle Value Chain Planning (VCP), Demantra to drive simplification and best practices
  • Identify Demantra system & process gaps, issues, defects and propose changes, solutions to resolve issues, improve application stability & performance. Ensure that project budgets, statements of work and contracts are managed to maximize the value of the outcome to business
  • Design and implement solutions and process rigor to ensure quality input and outputs by design of validation models and quality checks throughout the monthly and yearly cycles of the IBP process – both reactive and proactive
  • Development & alignment of IBP systems, in conjunction with the business functions and drive the associated prioritization, budgeting and resource planning, ensuring that this supports the IBP strategy, objectives and key initiatives for the business globally
  • Advise management on procurement of business applications, related technologies, environment upgrades. Provide functional input into the technology plan for the IT organization and influence project teams to maximize utilization of Out of Box ERP functionality for supply chain applications
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to support wider Global Supply Chain business process changes, simplification, integrations, divestitures activities
  • Drive the thought process forward (e.g. best practice knowledge) for the design of key systems and support tools like Demantra, Oracle ASCP, APCC other Oracle Applications ERP modules etc. from a functional Demand Planning/IBP business side
  • Implement solutions in other Advanced Supply Chain planning modules and processes to secure efficiency and accuracy for Demand Planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
  • Create Process flow diagrams, As-Is & To-Be Business Process Mapping, Gap analysis, Standard Work for IBP and Supply Chain processes.
  • Perform application testing by creating & executing test scripts for various business processes & scenarios in IBP and Global Supply Chain
  • Build analytics solutions in Supply Chain, Demand Planning/ Integrated Business Planning, Material Planning function using Qlik Sense Business intelligence tools
  • Work with global teams to develop and drive training programs for user groups, maximize benefits through system know-how, as well as addressing knowledge gaps. Establish best practices.
  • Work closely with Global Centre of Excellence teams, IT support teams, functional key users, and senior stakeholders to drive and lead change while building trust in our solutions

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field with minimum 10+ years' experience in Supply Chain
  • Solid understanding of IBP and demand and supply planning processes and systems (APO/Demantra or other advanced planning systems) and Supply Chain application’s interaction with other applications like commercial, fulfilment, finance and CRM
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects/process improvements, change management activities
  • AS-IS process analysis, requirement gathering & analysis, gap analysis, solution design and testing
  • At least 5 years of Demand Planning Experience.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel – 20% of travel is required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with projects with IT and SQL knowledge is highly appreciated.
  • Demantra knowledge is highly recommended, other APS are highly appreciated.
