Our team's mission statement is to be a senior advisor to senior leaders, to advise, enable and ultimately optimize the Payments organization, benefiting our employees and clients.
As a Process Optimization - Discovery Lead - Associate within the Payments Operations Strategic Office (POSO) Process Optimization team you will be challenged to understand specific business processes across the global Payments Operations, Client Service and Implementations organization, to provide data-driven insights and develop transformation opportunities.
Job responsibilities

  • Performs business process reviews to understand current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Performs data-driven analysis to gain insights into business processes
  • Collaborates with Operations leaders and their respective organizations and with key partners across the Commercial & Investment Bank, including Operations Transformation, Data Science, Technology and Business colleagues
  • Learns new diagnostic toolsets and leverages them to explore and understand business problems, including: Process Mining, Task Mining, Task Capture, and Process Modelling
  • Leads data analysis and brings order to the various separate diagnostic datasets, connecting them to generate and deliver process improvement insights to key stakeholders
  • Manages analysis projects to deliver agreed outcomes within defined timeframes
  • Compiles and presents updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization to effectively communicate the output of the analysis


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in performing business analysis to drive process improvement within a financial organization
  • Data transformation and analytics experience with tools such as Alteryx and Excel
  • Natural curiosity to understand how processes work and why they are performed
  • Complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build relationships with and influence colleagues and partners
  • Effective communicator with ability to provide clear, succinct verbal and written updates
  • Keen risk and control awareness


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience of Process Mining, Task Capture and Task Mining process analysis tools and the UiPath suite of applications
  • Business Process Modeling experience with knowledge of BPMN, process simulation and Decision Modelling and the Signavio application
  • Operations, Client Service or Implementation business process knowledge
  • Experience using JIRA to track project tasks and deliverables
