Process Engineer

Oversee maintenance, replacements, and capacity expansions of Medela’s owned manufacturing equipment at external suppliers

Define and implement advanced manufacturing concepts and technologies

Collaborate with suppliers to enhance and streamline production processes

Lead and manage equipment and process changes to ensure operational excellence

Oversee the design and implementation of molding tools with third-party partners

Conduct supplier capability analysis and benchmarking to support selection processes

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve sustainable cost reductions
What you bring along
-
BS degree in plastic engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in the plastic industry (preferably injection molding)

Prior experience in medical device manufacturing is a strong plus, along with expertise in mold design reviews and validation of manufacturing processes & equipment (including P-FMEA)

Proven knowledge of key manufacturing processes such as injection molding and assembly.

Strong background in managing supplier-related challenges in cost, quality, and delivery while fostering collaborative relationships

Effective communicator with a business-partner mindset, able to work cross-functionally with Sourcing, R&D, and Product Care teams to drive operational success

Fluent in English, with German as a plus, and a strong motivation to create a meaningful impact within the organization

Willingness to travel up to 20%, including occasional international trips
