The Opportunity
The Process Engineer (Data/Information Systems) is primarily responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing data management processes, with a focus on product data and associated manufacturing and operational data. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient and accurate data flow throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design to manufacturing and beyond. This includes the integration between Product Data Management (PDM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
What You'll Do

Analyze existing data management processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, specifically related to product data.

Design and implement new or improved data management processes and workflows.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all data management processes, including process maps, work instructions, and training materials.

Conduct training sessions for users on new or updated data management processes and systems.

Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement system integrations between PDM, ERP and other manufacturing systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, and Quality, to gather requirements and ensure alignment on data management processes.

Monitor the performance of data management processes, identify and resolve issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data management and process optimization.
What You Will Need
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in process engineering or data management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of PDM and ERP systems, ideally with experience in Propel and Oracle.

Experience with data integration and workflow automation tools.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Desired Qualifications

Experience with scripting or programming languages relevant to PDM/ERP customization.

Familiarity with data quality and data governance principles.

Project management experience.
