The process engineer for Cytiva is responsible for transfer projects, new product and process development projects and also supports production for complex process problems.

This position is part of the Manufacturing Science & Technologies department located in Uppsala and will be 100% Onsite position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Act as a expert on assigned process and specify requirements for large-scale chemical processes
• Support the implementation of new technology and equipment in chemical production from a chemical engineering perspective.
• Perform and document risk analyses.
• Drive process optimization in large-scale chemical processes focusing on efficiency and capacity increases through, e.g. scale-up of processes, reduced material consumption and reduction of process lead times.
• Participate in or drive process transfer activities between sites.
• Act in a multi cultural environment with other manufacturing sites and therefore travels will be a part of your job.

Who you are:

• Master of Science in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar or development engineer position, preferably from process industry
• Fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Electronic batch records experience
• Digital control systems in large scale manufacturing
• Transfer or process development project
